Captain Jack grew up on the North Shore of Long Island in Great Neck. He first fell in love with the water learning to sail on the Caribbean island of St. Thomas, where Captain Patrick of the US Virgin Islands became a foundational mentor — instilling a deeper understanding of navigating the sea and the fundamentals of being a great leader.

Jack carried that passion back home to New York, where he recently graduated from New York University. With law school beginning this fall, the water remains a constant — a place he'll keep returning to no matter what the next chapter brings. Boating has become more than a hobby; it's a lifelong passion and a part of who he is.

After serving as a sailing instructor for the Great Neck Park District in 2020 and gaining years of experience on the water, Jack founded Captain Jack Charters to share that passion with others. His goal is simple: to give every guest the opportunity to experience the same sense of freedom, adventure, and appreciation for the water that first inspired him. Through every trip, he hopes to pass along the respect, confidence, and love for the ocean that Captain Patrick instilled in him years ago.
